The Capirucho drink table is inspired by a popular yet simple toy enjoyed for many generations by kids in Guatemala. The piece has a playful silhouette hand turned with Conacaste, and it can be accentuated with colorful bands creating a more fun look that represents the original Capirucho toy. The hand carved tables have a playful silhouette that can be accentuated with colorful bands, creating a more fun look .The patterns are stems from the old carpentry workshops, where they were made with lathes. The tables are hand carved from Conacaste (Enterolobium Cyclocarpum), a hardwood tree native to Mexico and Central America. The reddish-brown heartwood has a coarse texture and straight grain, similar to walnut. Designed by Ricardo Velasquez x LĀBRICA.
